My passion for health care started at 5 years old, I wanted to be a pediatrician. As I ventured into playing volleyball throughout my years at El Camino Real High School, I battled with some minor injuries that helped me learn and become fascinated about the human body. After high school, I attended Los Angeles Mission College, in the San Fernando Valley, and played for the Women’s Volleyball team. I decided to major in Kinesiology to pursue a career in Athletic Training.

One week before my second season started, a devastating ACL tear took me out. In hopes of returning for the following season, I was recommended to a Chiropractic sports medicine specialist. He got me back just in time for my final season and I was inspired to help others the way I was helped.

In 2017, I graduated from California State University of Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. In 2021, I graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences.

Throughout my undergrad years, I also suffered from a lot of anxiety and stress. I resorted to natural medicine, which gave me great relief. I was then inspired again to learn how I can help others in the same way. I ventured into Functional Medicine, where I have completed over 400 hours of courses and certifications.

I am a true believer in that things happen for a reason. Through my ACL injury and anxiety, I was inspired to choose a different career path, that has allowed me to combine external and internal health, holistically.

My fulfilling life goal is to help others, the way I have been helped, by finding the root cause to their pains and/or health conditions, with a whole body approach in helping them achieve their best health.

My interest in healthcare began due to the several injuries I sustained throughout soccer career. I started playing at the age of 6 years old, where I continued in club teams, through high school at James Monroe; where I also ran track and cross country, and lastly playing collegiately at Los Angeles Mission College.

Throughout my injuries I enjoyed learning how to rehabilitate my body and prevent future injuries. During my second college season, I sustained a severe ankle injury. When I returned for my last season, I met my wife, Dr. Sandy who introduced me to chiropractic care at the age of 21. I was amazed with the profession and how it accelerated my recovery from injury. From then on out I knew what I wanted to do as my career.

In 2015, I graduated from California State University of Northridge with a major in Business Management. With the motivation of remaining in sports but with a new outlook in sports recovery, I decided to continue to learn and become a provider myself.

In 2021, I graduated with my Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a focus in sports recovery and preventative care.

My overall goal is reach those hard working people and athletes in the community in which I grew up in.
